Every Internship must wrap together with the generalization that I worked on an Internship project, and I did, but it doesn't feel like it was just a single project...I did fit so much into my four weeks interning with Smid. I was her righthand lady, there for feedback, ideas, company, and snack breaks. We shopped and researched together, bought, restored, and created together too. We bounced ideas off eachother, I felt like I was gaining so much more than just design tips, let alone merely class credit. It worked out fantastically that my internship happened to start when her Cantata project just began, and it happened to end just around the same time as my scheduled internship was to end. Together we worked with a couple of her other clients, but a majority of our time was focused on Cantata.
Cantata is set to open Wednesday, June 18th. Therefore as of now they do not have a professional website, but they do have a Facebook page that can be reached here at facebook.com/CafeCantataSD.

A part of my project was to expand Smid 's social media. We created a tentative schedule.
-Monday's quote day.
-Post in the morning, or around lunch time.
-Keep variety with closeup posts, and far back posts.
....and other silly, but effective ideas like that.
I mentioned @smidthat on my social media accounts, and she mentioned me. Win Win?
I made a leap in her Pinterest following by pining her Instagram images from followgram to Pinterest. (ya' following?)
